Mist de Cartier, released by Cartier in 1981, is a modern fragrance that sets the standard for oriental balsamic fragrances. This beautiful fragrance is perfect for the fall and winter months. The initial top notes consist of a complex layer of aldehydes, green orange, pineapple, galbanum and sweet lemon as well as Brazilian rosewood, peach and lemon. Secondary heart notes create a floral meadow filled with cloves, yellow narcissus, musk and a spicy scent of leather as well as orchid, iris stem, jasmine, vetiver and neroli along with ylang-ylang and rose. The base notes are pine, sandalwood, vanilla, vetiver, tonka bean and civet. The creator of this perfume is Jean-Jacques Denet.
