Description:
AVORAL This medication is used to treat dandruff. Using this medication helps relieve hair loss, peeling, and itching associated with dandruff. Its scientific name is ketoconazole, as it is an antifungal that works to prevent the growth of fungi.
Avalon Avoral is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor), which is a fungal infection that causes lightening or darkening of the skin on the neck, chest, arms, or legs. It comes in the form of cream, gel, and shampoo.

For the treatment of the following systemic fungal infections in patients who have failed or who do not tolerate other treatments: blastomycosis, coccidioidomycosis, histoplasmosis, pigmentary mycosis, and paramycosis.
How to use:

Leave the shampoo on the hair for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing it with water.
